A Four Day Project

Involving School Students,

Professional Musicians

and Slide Projection.

Brief
To work alongside twenty students over a three-day period and compose a piece of music based on Bjorn Nørgaard's glass-frieze picture, 'Jeg Gik Mig Over Sø Og Land'.  Two other full-time musicians would also be assigned to the project to assist in the sessions and also aid their own professional development.  The piece would be performed at the end of the project at the town's theatre as part of Levende Musik i Skolan's biennial Skolekoncert Festival.  I had previously agreed that we could make use of slide projection to accompany whatever was composed.
